Our regular Sunday Services evolved as we moved through the pandemic of the early 2020s. Initially, we only had an Online Service.
Following the relaxation of the COVID-19 restrictions we began holding a "live service" each week in the Sanctuary at our traditional time of 10:45, with the online services continuing, independently, of the “Live Service”.
From July 2022 we now offer a single service that appears on-line and happens live. At both you hear the same songs, prayers, readings and sermons, offered, read or preached by the same people. Communion is normally celebrated on the Third Sunday in each month.
The worship at any of our services may be led by our Pastor, one of our deacons or a member of the church. As a result the format of the service varies but is always lively.
For the songs, on the online version we use clips from online services such as YouTube and Vimeo. At the live services singing is accompanied by a mixed musical group and singers (See Note).
Crèche facilities for 0-4's are available at our live services but be prepared to stay with your child. There is always a part of the service aimed at children before they leave for their Sunday School classes. (Read more about Children at our live services.)
After the live services, refreshments are served in the Stables to which all are welcome.
Currently, we have no fixed worship band for our live Sunday service. We invite new singers and musicians young and old, beginners and experienced, to approach any of the existing group after any service and ask to join us at a rehearsal with the hope that they are able to play at a future service.
